Exactly. In fact, I remember the HyperDrivers ad from a commercial break during the show. For a long time, I had the show recorded on tape, and we did not want to horse with stopping and restarting the tape every break, so the show was taped with the commercials intact. And the HyperDrivers commercial was one of those commercials.

You can never be too old to love Pee-Wee’s playhouse. I’m 31, and I still love Pee-Wee. :)

I think that things drastically changed especially in the late ’90s. For most of my life, it was spent with ABC, if only for “The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show”. But after they threw in the towel on that, and even before that, I stopped with the typical Saturday morning that I enjoyed in my youth. Things have also changed for me on CBS when they stopped airing “Pee-wee’s Playhouse”. I love that show (even now, I still do, even though I’m 23)!

I hate that I had yet to own a home before my mom’s “idle threats” to throw out/donate my toys to charity became a reality. MF! At least the attic is clean. Great.

I agree. Back in he 80’s cartoon shows were cool and meaningful to watch. Now saturday morning TV is just blah, blah, blaaahhh… *Sighs*

In board game commercials, someone always says “I Win!”

I remember them very well. That was about 1984-1985 or so. They were a big fad around then and made by the same people who made the Colecovision video game console in the early ’80s. Cabbage Patch Kids later were spoofed in the wonderfully disgusting Garbage Pail Kids cards. I had TONS of those things.

The World’s Largest McDonalds on International Drive in Orlando, FL has a rainforest, it’s 2 levels, an elevator, lots of murals painted on the walls, a gift shop, serves cusines and pizza, a fish tank, a huge arcade on the 2nd floor and the outside looks likes a big box of french fries! It’s the most unique Golden Arch in the world!
