It’s time I joined the club of feline responses to this amazing video!
I have played this video numerous times to all my cats in the past, and never got any reaction at all. I concluded the youtube cats must be just speaking in some other cat language that my cats don’t understand. 
But tonight Srećica was sat on my bed, and she seemed very intrigued by some sounds coming from my speakers. I noticed it and thought, maybe now’s the time to put on the talking cats video! And who would have thought, yes, this was the right moment.
What I found most amazing was that she was no longer focused on the speakers as the source of the sound, but she actually recognised the image of cats on the screen, and she seemed to try to figure out how those two kitties got into this big rectangular frame. When she finally mustered up the courage to touch them with her paw it was like she realised - PAH! They’re just boring fake 2-dimensional cats, and they don’t even SMELL.
And then she lost interest, haha.

I’ve been trying to post links to some good ones, but it seems yotube won’t let me. I’ve just favourited them so check them out if you like. There’s one that gets really angry and hisses at the screen, one that purrs at it, and one that looks so desperate to join the party inside the screen, it’s so adorable. Can’t find the one that meows loudly though…

Oh there are hundreds of replies, it’s a very popular video! I can’t find the ones I liked the best any more, it was a while ago, back when the original video was first posted. There were some of cats that were literally howling back at the screen, it was hilarious. I hoped to get the same out of my cats but this is as far as it goes haha.
